Lil Wayne vs 2Pac
lil wayne used to annoy the shit out of me. he is growing on me for sure.. but I would of never guessed that he would of been so much more popular than 2pac!!
even though 2pac is dead, I would of thought he would of reigned supreme.. am I naive?

I'm in the same club. I used to despise him when he was younger and pretty much only rapped about "blunts, bitches and bling bling". It was easy to forget, however, that he was only like 14 or 15 when he got started with Bird Man and the rest of Cash Money Millionaires.
These days, he's got some of the most clever lines in all of rap music. I've caught several double entendres recently that are easily Jay Z-caliber.
He's completely WRECKING the mixtape circuit, showing up on about 1-2 discs a month officially and countless others with just his newest freestyles and bootleg tracks. That might help explain the increase in search metrics too. Let me know if you want any recent stuff as I'm always happy to "share".
I suppose whenever Tupac's next album comes out (I truly believe he's alive somewhere!) that his name will rocket back up but Lil' Wayne certainly shows ZERO signs of falling off anytime soon.
I liked some of his lines in the early stuff.. The block is hot had some iight lines etc. and he had this sad song that was kinda of a nice change and showed his range.

2pac is very much dead, you should read this book "got your back" by his bodyguard.. great stuff, very moving.
