night before last we went to this sweet art show and presentation.. then the sharing dreams were invited to this very posh party hosted by the minister of culture.. me and a couple of the sharing dreams kids talked our way into the vip group that consisted of all the speakers and the icograda board.. including the founder of pentagram (the hottest firm back in the day, hes doing cool stuff now too..) and paola antonelli the curator of design department of moma, nyc.. she is such an amazing mind.. she is into product innovation.. and she is totally up my alley. the event was held at this party house somewhere .. the place had a pool and was in a very nice part of town.. it was definetly a high honor and i was so excited to be a part of it.. I havent eaten much cause the food is such shit.. ive had a couple nice meals out.. but far and few between.. the buffet at this party was so amazing it was like an amazing feeling to eat well.. they had a whole roast pig.. with amazing crackle.. (still had little hairs in it... and a mock cigar in his mouth!!)

yesterday afternoon, I saw the most incredible presentation from this japanese guy, shigeo fukuda.. google him.. hes got the most amazing body of work. VERY INSPIRING..

then last night the taiwan ppl paid for this really expensive party at this club on the beach.. amazing sunset!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! waiters.. open bar, food.. band.. in this pimp mansion.. think versaces house..

today is the last day of the conference.. ive really enjoyed the conference speakers so far..

From their forthcoming Totally Flossed Out, "Black Mags" starts with a deep, slowed-down voice like the one on another album track, "Gold and Pagers" (which itself opens like Fabolous' "Diamonds"). Here the Cool Kids rap laconically about their bicycle, managing to tie in "MacGyver" and further the Pack comparison with a shout-out to Nike. Nope this is not some wireframe CGI or cell shaded animation but a real scale model of a Toyota Corolla created by artist Benedict Radcliffe which was rendered entirely using wire. This new work was commissioned by Japan’s Densu Inc for an advertising campaign in the Middle East.

about linkedin - now allows you to upload a photo

I dont know how I feel about this. The fact that linkedin was only text added an element of value. Something about this makes me think that linkedin might take the albeit succesful turn to a popularity contest. Right now you are judged on your words.. but now you will be judged by your image.. I started to use my skull logo in lieu of a profile image for just such a reason.. My ugly mug would scare ppl off!

I can just imagine ppl putting puppy dogs and whatnot as their icon.. and I suppose that is similar to an image you would put up in your cubicle.. but I think that linkedin is supposed to be more offical than that.. its almost like they could of gotten the offical picture from your employer and used that.. or your drivers license picture from the DMV

about Radiohead to Let Fans Pick the Price for New Album

Radiohead will be offering its newest album by digital download, allowing fans to pay whatever they think is a fair price for their newest 10 songs. The band will allow users to pay a minimum of 1 pence (plus a 45p credit card processing fee) to download the “In Rainbows” album from the band’s web site.

Given the band is no longer under contract with a label, they are free to distribute their own music how they best see fit. By cutting out the middle man (iTunes, Amazon MP3, etc.), they can charge fans much less to enjoy their music. The band had previously been with EMI for their last album, which was released in 2003.

Radiohead has never made their music available on iTunes, and it now appears they never will.

—A new Adobe Media Player that lets you watch shows in Flash either online or off and manage your shows in an iTunes-like application. Videos from CBS, PBS, Yahoo Video, Blip.tv, Revision3, and others are available.

—A dedicated eBay Desktop for power eBay users.

—A desktop version of AOL’s Top 100 Videos.

—A video puzzle from Nickelodeon.

—Apps for Salesforce.com.

—A stock-market visualization app called Market Replay from Nasdaq.

To try most of these apps, you will have to install the latest version of Adobe AIR.

Developers who want to create AIR apps can get the second version of the beta, released today, here.
