After realizing that only 13 percent of Wikipedia contributors are women, 1×57 has decided to raise awareness about the issue and encourage more to contribute through its free workshop “Women Who Wiki.” The event’s organizers tapped JESS3 for logo and barnstar design explorations to go along with its “Change the Ratio” campaign.

JESS3 co-founder Leslie Bradshaw was joined by JESS3 editorial and outreach director Simon Owens to discuss the finer points of how Facebook was hacked by porn spammers during the week of November 14th. JESS3 Founders Named to Inc. Magazine's 30 Under 30

JESS3 CEO and Founder Jesse Thomas along with President, COO and Co-founder Leslie Bradshaw are included in Inc.'s list for America's 30 Coolest Entrepreneurs Under 30 (2012). Along with being included in the list, Inc's J.J. McCorvey covers JESS3's rise to its present day status, "JESS3 is now packing up and moving to Los Angeles, and has developed a specialty in data visualization -- the company employs tactics like stop-motion animation, infographics, and puppetry (yes, puppetry) to present large sets of information for clients like Google, Nike, and ESPN."

As an official production partner at this year’s highly anticipated LeWeb ’11 Conference, JESS3 attended the conference to contribute what its best known for: beautiful data visualizations. The catch? The infographics would be created in real-time. With the help of data partners Radian6, the JESS3 team created an infographic for each day of the conference using the topics discussed by the panelists in attendance as well as the topics most widely discussed in the social media.

Washington Post Breaks the News: JESS3's Founders Moving to LA

Capital Business reporter Tom Heath announced on Monday: "The founders of JESS3 — the District-based visual storyteller for corporations such as Google, NIKEiD and ESPN — are moving to Los Angeles next month. For good." Adding that, "JESS3 co-founder Leslie Bradshaw tells us the company set up offices in Highland Park a year ago. Bradshaw, who founded the firm with Jesse Thomas and is one of the key players in the local business scene, said the move will enable the firm to better serve their West Coast clients, which make up 90 percent of JESS3’s business."
